Have a Hoot birthday

Long time no see! I haven't posted in a while....life has been pretty busy keeping up with my 2 year old grandson. :) I love getting to spend so much time with him, I am very blessed! And his mommy (my daughter) is getting married in January so we are planning a wedding. Eeeee! So much fun! But I haven't stopped stamping and making cards, I am still creating and doing FB Lives each Wednesday at 11am CT. Please join me or watch the video later. You can watch here!

I received this stamp set, Have a Hoot, as part of a bundle that my BFF got me for my birthday, thank you Debbie! She knows I love owls. I have made some super cute cards with these stamps and dies. Here is one of my favs. The stamp set is meant to be for Halloween and Christmas but I have made it into a birthday card.

I stamped the owl with the spooky spider in Memento ink on a Whisper White scrap, but covered the spider up with a heart. I colored it with Magenta Madness and Crumb Cake Blends. I die cut the owl with a circle from Stitched Shapes dies and a Basic Black scalloped circle from Layering Circles dies. I stamped Happy Birthday from Perfect Moments on a Whisper White scrap and die cut it with the Nested Labels dies. I layered those onto a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of 2020-2022 In Color designer series paper, and that onto a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 piece of Whisper White cardstock. I added the ribbon and tied a knot on the front. I adhered all of it to a 4 1/4 x 11 Basic Black card base. Last, I added rhinestones and a popped up tiny heart from the Dog Builder punch.

Please share any cards that you are inspired to make with the Have a Hoot bundle, I'd love to see them!
