Hello! I'm new to blogging, so please be patient with me! Feel free to share advice, I need all the help I can get!
Here are some projects that I've been working on lately. I finished them up this weekend, during breaks of doing my taxes. :( I had to find something fun and creative to do!
It's a printer's tray that I got from Stampin' Up months ago that I have been meaning to decorate. I had originally planned on doing a fall theme, then Christmas, then Valentine's....but didn't get around to it. When I got the Print Poetry paper pack, I knew that's what I wanted to use! I LOVE that paper!
I have adhered magnet sheets cut to fit each rectangle space on the printer's tray (thanks for the great tip Lori Wyatt!) and magnets to the back of each designer paper. That way I can change it out to go with the seasons or special events.
Some of the items I used: All Stampin' Up! Poetry Print Pack dsp, Dress Up framelits die, Pennant punch, Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly punches, 5/8" Flower Trim, Blossom punch, Labels Collection framelits, Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse and Gumball Green cs, pearl basic jewels and various ribbon.
I used the Epic Day This and That dsp to cover this old clipboard that I've also had forever. I used a foam paintbrush and Crystal Effects to adhere the paper and then put a thin coat on the top of the paper to give it a sealed finish.
And now, for my favorite new Stampin' Up! product! This and That Journal is amazing! I have been seeing smashbooks all over blogs and Pinterest and wondered how to make one with Stampin' Up supplies. Well, Stampin' Up solved my dilemma and came up with this awesome bundle! I couldn't wait for it to come in the mail to start playing with it. I covered the front with some of the yummy Epic Day dsp and flowers made from the same. I added coordinating ribbon and Flower trim. Then I sewed an elastic with some of the pretty (Calypso Coral) Tea for Two designer fabric to hold some matching markers and keep the journal closed. I have completed several pages inside, but don't have good photos of them yet. You'll have to check back later. :)
Thanks for looking!
Karrie
