This card uses a Sale-a-Bration stampset, Vintage Verses, but you could use something similar. I adore the layout of this stamp, the font and especially the message. Several people come to mind that this sentiment would be perfect for!
This chalkboard technique is a lot of fun and easy to do. I inked the sentiment in Versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. I used a white colored pencil and a ruler to make the outer border, messy and imperfect, like a real chalkboard. Then I took Whisper White Craft Ink and a sponge to add 'chalk dust' around the black piece. You can't see it very well in this picture.
I was so excited to learn that in the new Stampin' Up color refresh Pool Party will become a core color and be around for a while longer, yippee! It goes with so much.
