Queen Bee

I fell in love with the Queen Bee bundle from Stampin' Up! when I first saw it in the Mini Catalog. It's so versatile with the bees, flowers and vintage images. So elegant and pretty!

I stamped the bee and crown in the center of a 4 X 5 1/4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in Momento ink and stamped them again on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla and fussy-cut them out. I stamped the flowers in Memento ink on each side of the bee, one going up and one going down. Then I stamped the vintage type stamp in Crumb Cake randomly, darker on the outer edges and stamped off closer to the center. Using a Blending Brush I added a little Crumb Cake ink to the edges. I colored the flowers and bee with dark Daffodil Delight Blend. The bee and crown were popped up with mini dimensionals. I added the card front to a folded 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" Basic Black cardstock. I adhered a 4 x 5 1/4" Very Vanilla cardstock to the inside of the card to write the message.

I love the vintage/rustic feel of this card, kinda like me, vintage/rustic, lol.
