This is one of the cards we made at our Card Club in June. Our hostess, Ginger, requested girly, fancy birthday cards.
We used Good Morning, Magnolia stamp set and coordinating dies, Magnolia Memory. I pre-diecut the flowers so we could just put them in a template on the Stamparatus. By using the Stamparatus, we were able to get a clean, crisp stamped image. It would have been intimidating to me to try to stamp with this large stamp before the Stamparatus came along. Now, if I don't get a good impression, I just ink the stamp again and restamp it exactly where it I stamped the first time. But it actually stamped really well the first time!
We used Mossy Meadow cardstock for the base of the card, and the Magnolia Lane designer series paper for the bottom of it and a smaller striped strip. We colored the flower with the Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Blends, and popped it up with dimensionals. Then, we finished it off with my favorite, Polka Dot Tulle ribbon.
I adore this magnolia suite, it's so pretty! I've always loved magnolia flowers and trees. So much so, that when we got our first bichon frise we named her Magnolia Belle, we called her Maggie. She was a beautiful, sweet white doggie and the mother of our two bichons that we have now, Cosmo and Roxie.
Everything I used is listed below and you can order them any time on my website.
Remember, when you purchase $25 or more and use the Host Code (July Host Code:
UK2C7BEX) you will receive a card kit and tutorial to make 4 different cards in
