Dress Up Boutique

Today I want to share my bathroom with you. Well, not ACTUALLY physically share my bathroom with you, just photos and the story of my bathroom! ;)

We moved into this house 3 years ago. I haven't had a decorative shower curtain, just the, you know, plastic liner shower curtain.  I couldn't find a shower curtain that I liked.  They all looked so  generic and boring.  I wanted something girly, ruffly and unique.  I pinned a few that I liked on Pinterest, but that's as far as I got.  Well, my daughter surprised me at Christmas and bought this darling, girly, ruffly and unique shower curtain!  And it's PINK!  my favorite color! It has 17 lovely layers of pink, all light and airy and totally wonderful!  She ordered it from Urban Outfitters.

She and the boys bought matching bathroom accessories, you can barely see the trash can, but there is a soap dispenser and toothbrush holder also.  The theme is Hollywood glamour. So, when I thought about how to decorate the walls, I knew the perfect thing to use from my Stampin' Up! stash of goodies, the Dress Up Framelits Dies!  I made the wall hanging below:

I had an inexpensive frame that I spray painted silver. The paper background is Designer Series Paper in Blushing Bride, the same pink as the shower curtain and bathroom accessories. Other items that I used: Very Vanilla and Basic Gray cardstock, various embossing folders, rhinestones and pearls, doilies, flower trim, the beautiful 1 1/4" Two-tone ribbon, Crumbcake seam binding, Crumbcake ink, silver Glimmer paper and the Travel Journal builder wheel. Below are close-ups of each outfit.

This die is so versatile!  You can use it to create cards, scrapbook pages, gifts and home decor.  I definitely will be getting my money's worth with this one!

Hope you enjoyed!!
